At the conclusion of the speech portion of the meeting, the toastmaster of the evening relinquishes the lectern, which means they pass control of the meeting back to the President.

The President invites all members to vote for the meeting's best speech, evaluator, table topic speaker and the most improved member. This is a secret ballot and the winners are announced by the President. A review of responsibilities for the next meeting is announced while the ballots are being cast and counted. At this time, guests are also given an opportunity to comment on the meeting.

The awards for the evening are announced and recorded by the Secretary. At the end of each six-month period, personalized trophies are awarded to the person who received the most awards in each of the four categories.

After any final announcements, the meeting is adjourned.
